Janelle Monáe is back with a soulful new track and it feels so good! Her new single “Q.U.E.E.N” features none other than Erykah Badu. We can only hope that that they plan to collaborate on more than one track. We also have a new one from Montreal’s Solar Year, who seem to be channeling one of our all time favorites Fever Ray.

Today SZA dropped her new EP S and “Aftermath” has taken the award for favorite track. We also insist that you listen to the “Meltdown” the lead single from Ghostpoet’s upcoming album Some Say I So I Say Light. It’s a perfectly executed, melancholy tune that we can all relate to.

Since the moment we laid ears on Beatrice Eli we haven’t stopped hyping her. “Violent Silence” will make you believe the hype. We also have a gorgeous indie-folk gem off of Collective Fossils debut album Tell Where I Lie.
