Italy is responsible for bringing us many great things, but our favorite is psych-pop duo Dumbo Gets Mad. Now in Los Angeles, they have released their second album Quantum Leap, a funk ridden record laced with 80’s style synths that still manages to stay true to their psychedelic roots.
If you aren’t familiar with their first album Elephant At The Door then we highly suggest giving that a listen as well.

Memphis native Hank Sullivant is the driving creative force behind psych-pop project Kuroma. He was also a co-founder of garage rock trio The Whigs.

Tame Impala’s sophomore album, Lonerism the follow up to their 2010 debut Innerspeaker is a sonic leap forward for this Australian bred psych-rock quartet. On this album a pop influence can be felt brought on by the indulgent use of synthesizers while still keeping their searing guitar lines, bouldering drums, free bass and of course Kevin Parker’s vocal prowess.
