Announcing exfm’s new Notifications and Email Sharing options:
We continue to roll out new features at a rapid clip and today we’re excited to bring you two great new ones. The first is an all-new Notifications panel. Navigate to your Settings, then Notifications and you’ll find the new Email Me options. These include email alerts for new followers, when another user loves one of your tracks, a nifty weekly recap of your exfm activity and our exfm announcements email. These email options will be on by default for all users though can be turned off at any time.
In addition we’ve cleaned up our exfm Desktop Notifications (currently Chrome only). These are super handy, especially if you close the exfm tab. They will pop up automatically, give you the info you need, then fade away seamlessly.

Next, we’re super stoked to offer something our users have been itching to get for some time – the ability to email tracks to anyone. Even non exfm users. We’ve neatly tucked Email to Share in to every sharing option across exfm. One click of the Share icon brings up the usual Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr sharing options and now you’ll find Email to Share living alongside them. Click the letter icon, enter an email (limited to one email for now) fire off a quick note click share and whoosh it’s sent on its merry way.
