If there is one thing that Georgia’s Little Tybee doesn’t do it’s disappoint. Their Sophomore album “For Distant Viewing” is another beautifully executed orchestral-folk record. Close your eyes and let the violin be your guide as it flawlessly harmonizes with lead singer Brock Scott’s melodic vocals.

Freak folk outfit Norwegian Arms recorded “Wolf Like a Stray Dog” during a year long fellowship in Tomsk, Russia, nestled in the heart of Siberia. Self- described as an “ember glowing in the distance of an otherwise frozen taiga,” the album deals with themes of homesickness, discovery, frustration and wanderlust.

Australian folk-rocker Angus Stone is best known for his project with sister Julia titled Angus & Julia Stone. Worldwide the duo has sold over 1 million records. However, Angus is also an accomplished solo artist.
This past July Angus released his second solo album Broken Brights. The album is by far his most personal to date. On one hand, you’ll find Stone off in his own world, dreaming away, and on the other, he’s energetic, charismatic and quite frank.
