Listen on exfmOnly Andrew Wyatt could make the lyrics “Crackheads falling through the bannisters” sound as lovely as on “Harlem Boyzz,” the second single off his newly released album Descender. Meanwhile, across the pond, we have a rising popstar who borrows her name from Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” Her first single “Who Am I” sounds like it would be right at home on Gwen Stefan’s fist solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from garage-rockers Bass Drum of Death, which is why we were particularly elated to hear their new single “Shattered Me.” We were also stoked to hear on of our favorite MC’s Danny Brown was tapped to jump on the remix of Charli XCX’s “What I Like.” Brown is an outspoken fanboy of the british goth-pop princess so knew it would be a match made in heaven. He definitely gave the track that extra edge it was lacking.

Under My ArrestToday SZA dropped her new EP S and “Aftermath” has taken the award for favorite track. We also insist that you listen to the “Meltdown” the lead single from Ghostpoet’s upcoming album Some Say I So I Say Light. It’s a perfectly executed, melancholy tune that we can all relate to.

The second introduction of the day goes to Phoria whose created this beautifully sad piece of electronica aimed to tug at your heart strings. If you only listen to two songs today make sure it’s these two.

She’s a new comer, but if she keeps putting out gems like this one we’re sure she’ll be making some big waves.
