CMJ 2011: MEGABLAAG

CMJ’s first installment of Megablaag couldn’t have gone any smoother. We want to give a special thanks to Mark of yvynyl and Peter at Ears of The Beholder for putting together this very special evening for us.

For the second time this year we’ve been able to help unite the online community of bloggers, musicians, techies, label owners and more for an epic night of in real life fun. Not only do they know a thing or two about music and tech, but many of them have been our core supporters from the very start and those who weren’t have jumped on board and helped spread the word.

Once again, Born Gold stopped through and got the crowd hopping with their innovative interactive electronic dance party from outerspace or Canada, whatever same thing. Chad Valley graced our ears with a glorious late night set which was truly the perfect way to end our evening. We even had a little surprise celebrity visit from Bradford Cox (celebrity brag). All in all it was the perfect end to a long week of CMJ shenanigans. Thank you all for coming out and sharing this awesome evening with us. We can’t wait to do it all over again at SXSW!
