Sharing tracks from exfm to Facebook now lives in one dedicated space on your Facebook Timeline. It makes for a great way to showcase your musical taste with your friends.

We recently rolled out some really nice changes to our sharing options making sharing silky smooth and easier than ever. Here’s a run down.

Exfm has a nice set of Email and Desktop Notifications built right in you can control via your Notification Settings.

If you follow someone and they are online listening it displays in real-time. Clicking a name jumps you to their profile page. You can even click on their Now Playing track and listen as well.

Have a website where you post audio? If so you need to grab our Site Player. While it looks pint-sized, don’t be fooled, it packs real punch. It’s one slick, feature-rich workhorse.

Exclusive to mobile is the ability to cycle through all our monthly mixtapes. All it takes is a simple tap on the date box to reveal a list of past mixtapes.

Tucked inside our Labs is a nice little surprise - exfm Fullscreen. You should get the idea from the name though reading about it isn’t nearly as much fun as using it.

If you want a quick snapshot of what’s trending across exfm we make that drop dead simple. Just click on Trending in the left side navigation.

Each month we ask a notable exfm’er to compile a mixtape for users. It’s a handpicked, finely-curated blend of great music.

The Tastemaker Feed is an amazing array of stellar, cutting-edge, eclectic, and just downright cool tracks hand-selected from an incredible group of music bloggers.

Look for the heart icon. Click it to save that song to your Loved tracks on your profile page. You can love tracks from the song page, play bar, queues, Site Player and even with the exfm inline controls.

Link your social networks to automatically see your friends already on exfm. In addition you can share music to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr as well as scrobble plays to Last.fm.

If you have the exfm extension installed (and by all means you should) or a blog has our Site Player installed then any mp3 detected on the page will also have the Inline Control options.

To collapse the left side navigation on exfm just hit alt+f on a PC or option+f on a Mac and the side bar will neatly collapse to show just icons.

Each day in Explore we showcase a Site of the Day. Typically they host tunes you might not otherwise find though deserve a listen. Check it daily for your fix of new.

Round out your profile. It’s simple and adds a lot for you and for other exfmers. Visit Settings to access to your profile info.

To change your exfm background you can select one of our artist themes or even insert a URL link to a graphic of your choice.
